End-User Usability Directives
Thycotic currently requires that you perform minimal steps for logging into your user account web portal to then have access to all of your websites and apps as well as using the web password filler launcher. I will expressly state and elaborate on these in this doc.
The usability experience goes like this…
Go to the web login portal URL -> https://wir.secretservercloud.com

You select OpenID Connect and login with your Email Address and password (provided) - this allows you to have an SSO (single-sign-on) experience for other Thycotic web apps/products. Better for syncing.
You select Local Login and login with your Username and password (provided) - use this if the OpenID Connect does not work for whatever reason.
This entry portal is where it will be the only moment you have to manually enter in user account credentials aside from one other time when using the web extension launcher for the password filler. This will require you to click on ‘Generate Token’ for it to activate for the duration of your work shift web app access session.
Once you have done this you should now be in your thycotic secret server cloud web portal and have access to secrets that have been shared with you on the left side column that appear as folders.
