If you are restricted from printing in color, printing will not work unless it's black & white. Even if you try to select black & white, it often will continue to print in color as the default.
To make black & white the default for this printer:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click on 'View devices and printers'
3. Right click TOSHIBA Universal Printer 2
4. Click printing preferences
5. Change the color option to 'Black and White'
6. Click Apply then Ok
